Classic WoW Phase 5 has officially started, and as of right now, US servers are able to contribute for the Ahn'Qiraj War Effort!

The opening of the Gates of Ahn'qiraj is the event preceding the availability of the Ahn'Qiraj raid instance. To open the Gates, each side must gather and contribute large numbers of specific resources to quest givers located in Ironforge (Alliance) or Orgrimmar (Horde) to fund the expedition to open these raid instances. But this isn't without reward.
In total, the Alliance on your server will need to gather the following to be able to open the Gates:

At the completion of the 10-hour war, the Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj (a 20-player raid dungeon) and the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj (a 40-player raid dungeon) will open, allowing players access to the dangers and treasures within.
