According to the report, characters who have attained the highest level will earn Honor Points by engaging in Battlegrounds or Arenas, and therefore increase their Honor Level, until the maximum of 50. The journey to 50 will feature rewards such as Gold, Artifact Power, and a brand new set of PvP-only Honor Talents, which is a special set of Talents that are only active when a player is in PvP mode. According to PC Mag, once a player reaches 50, he has the option to select Prestige or reset Honor Level back to 1, thereby losing any unlocked Honor Talents. Those who choose Prestige, however, will earn wearable badges with their Prestige Levels on it, a faction pennant, a new Artifact appearance, and a unique mount and pet.

According to Battle, "We see the Prestige system as a great way for players who aren’t interested in pursuing higher rating, but still enjoy PvP, to have their own unique rewards to chase after."

Moreover, Blizzard announced that "Over the years, we've seen the high-end PvP community tend to flock to one faction over the other, even if it's not the faction they'd prefer. Racial balance is an important part of that, but we also think many players tend to simply choose the faction where they feel the best players are."

Additionally, players can expect that in Legion, the awarding of end-of-season PvP awards will be based on the top percentages of players in each faction contrary to the overall player base. Blizzard reveals that there will be two brand new maps added to the Arena in "World of Warcraft: Legion".
