"Players will be able to level up with a game mechanic closer to most online shooters, and there is already the unlocking of rewards and Honor Talents," the Master Herald report pointed out.
Observers noted that the changes to the PvP mode of "World of Warcraft: Legion," whose release date remains unknown, bears striking similarities to those of "Call of Duty," as the former seems to adapt the latter's Prestige levelling system.
With this modification, gamers can no longer purchase gear from vendors using Honor and Conquest, but characters who have gained the highest level will instead earn Honor Points by engaging in Battlegrounds or Arenas until they reach the Honor Level of 50.
"Once players reach 50, they will be able to get rewards including Gold, Artifact Power, and a brand new set of PvP-only Honor Talents, which is a special set of Talents that are only active when a player is in PvP mode," Master Herald explained.
"World of Warcraft: Legion," whose release date is still a tightly-guarded secret, is also getting a major visual make-over as well. Blizzard announced that the game will feature increased "draw distances" in zones that will allow players to see much farther than they are used to, while including a new class/combination called Gnome Hunters.
In the meantime, Blizzard had given a select number of gamers the opportunity to play "World of Warcraft: Legion" through an alpha version it released last December, reported Movie News Guide.
The lucky players who were able to play the game said that they were able to increase the level of their characters to 104, but were only allowed to do so at the Highmountain or Stormheim zones which are both located in the Broken Isles.
