This is a list of what players will see in the patch note: the new transmogrification system, the revamped PvP progression system, the ability to swap class specializations and talents on the fly outside of combat, the removal of the glyph panel, a massive increase to a player’s gold cap, improved graphics, the removal of Draenor perks, and the anticipated overhaul of classes and their specializations.
Players are able to copy their existing characters to the public test realm in order to test the changes coming to World of Warcraft. By doing this, players can see how their collection of saved items will transfer to the new transmogrification system. Players will find their Void Storage, personal banks, and bags a little lighter with the new system.
All items that are soulbound, and that can be equipped by the character, will be collected into the new Appearances Collection tab. Items logged in this tab are available across a player’s entire account for use in outfits and transmogrifications. Items rewarded from quests are included in this Collection, and deleted quest rewards will also be available.
Other sweeping changes, like the redesigned PvP systems will also be previewed in the pre-expansion patch. Honor and Conquest Points are no longer currencies under the new system. Players will no longer utilize their equipped gear while engaging in PvP with the Principles of War buff instead granting specialization and statistics bonuses.
Players previewing the pre-expansion World of Warcraft patch will also find that each class and specialization is quite different from the live server. There is no Dual Specialization any longer and instead players can switch to any of their specializations for a “progressive gold cost.” Not to mention, the gold cap is increased to 9,999,999 in the pre-expansion patch.
As database website WoWhead reported, several UI changes are included in the pre-expansion patch. Combat damage numbers are crisper, nameplates are clearer with buff displays, and targeting circles now appear at characters’ feet.
You can head on over to battle.net to find the detailed list! There is no public date for patch’s release. When it is released, all the players have access to these new features coming to legion. Players that pre-purchase Legion will also get to play the Demon Hunter hero class before the expansion releases in August.
