The first major content patch for Legion, Patch 7.1 titled “Return to Karazhan” will hit on October 25 as we mention previously. Except expecting the new features to come, players can also try to unlock a secret super-difficult boss which was uncovered by a player Nexeoes. The sharp WoW player posted online the detailed steps to unlock the big boss in the Gnomeregan, one of the earliest dungeons in the original launch of World of Warcraft game in 2004. To unlock the new boss, players must enter Gnomeregan and make their way to the final boss of the dungeon, a gnome in a robot suit named Mekgineer Thermaplugg. However, players must not actually kill the boss. Instead, there’s a pillar near the boss that has a button labeled “PUSH ME.” Hitting that will summon the new boss, who will destroy Mekgineer Thermaplugg and take his place.
The new boss named Endgineer Omegaplugg, has 270 million health and a whole suite of attacks that do an absurd amount of damage — enough to kill most player characters in one hit. Nexeoes warns that your group will need to be “EXTREMELY geared” if you hope to take on this challenge.
For those who are able to brave the Endgineer Omegaplugg challenge and come out on the other side, the boss will drop a special toy that transforms players into a leper gnome.
In early 2010’s Cataclysm expansion, Gnomeregan is one of the first extremely challenging dungeons in the original one to 60 leveling process. It was doable around level 25 but was the first hint of what group encounters would expect of you at endgame. This Legions’s secret boss is not first hidden inside dungeons. Maybe you will encounter another secret boss in Legion!
