The final LFR Wing 4 of Tomb of Sargeras raid unlocks on August 8th. It includes the final boss Kil'Jaeden. It will award higher item level loot - item level 895 loot instead of the 885 loot from other wing LFR wing of ToS. Battleground Bonus Event
What is a Battleground?
Battlegrounds are a form of large scale PvP. You can queue with up to 5 party members, or by yourself and be matched up with others. Your PvP ratings are not affected by wins and losses in regular Battlegrounds, as opposed to Rated Battlegrounds
You can start doing Battlegrounds at level 10, with a new bracket every 10 levels.
During Battleground Bonus Event, you will get the Sign of Battle buff which increases the amount of Honor earned from Battleground objectives and wins by 50%. Honor is used to unlock more PvP talents in Legion and allow players to Prestige up for rewards like Prestigious Bronze Courser and Alliance Enthusiast.
Pick up the weekly bonus event quest from Archmage Timear to acquire Glory of the Melee, Badge of Honor, and 5 Marks of Honor. For this quest you must win 4 battlegrounds.
New World Boss: Calamir
The World Boss is Calamir. Calamir drops ilvl 860 feet, neck, Fire Relic, and ring. Defeating Calamir is required for the World Quest Calamitous Intent and counts towards credit for Unleashed Monstrosities.
Mythic+ Affixes
This week's Mythic+ Affixes are Bolstering, Skittish, Fortified.
PvP Brawl: Gravity Lapse
Gravity Lapse is the second Weekly PvP Brawl! This brawl will be active for one week. The reward for winning is 300 Honor and Soldier's Esteem. Participating in 3 Brawls for Something Different rewards a Brawler's Footlocker.
- Capture up to four bases to start earning points for your team.
- Capture the central flag at one of your own bases to earn even more points!
Archaeology: The archaeology reward for the next week is Purple Hills of Mac'Aree. Completing 8 archaeology quests unlocks an Artifact Tint from This Side Up.
