“In-Game Events

Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking - [August 1–8]
While this event is active, players level 81 or higher may access a special Timewalking Dungeon Finder queue, which scales players and their items down to revisit past dungeons from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. While Timewalking, bosses will yield loot appropriate for a player’s regular level.!

Darkmoon Faire - [August 6–12]
Meet Silas Darkmoon and his troupe, play games that test mind and nerve, and behold exotic sights from the four corners of Azeroth and beyond!

Tomb of Sargeras: Raid Finder Wing 4 Opens - [August 8]
With the Pillars of Creation in hand, the Class Orders have paved the way to The Tomb of Sargeras where they will seal the Burning Legion’s portal into Azeroth. The final Raid Finder wing open this month: Deceiver’s Fall. Kil’jaeden awaits!

Battleground Bonus Event - [August 8–15]
While this event is active, random Battlegrounds will award Honor at an increased rate. Glory awaits in the fields of battle!

PvP Brawl: Gravity Lapse - [August 8–15]
Gravity getting you down? Step into the Eye of the Storm and be prepared for an en-lighten-ing experience. Every minute, players on the battlefield will find themselves launched into the air, only to gently fall toward the ground once more in a perpetual aerial ballet as they try to accrue enough resources to take the win home for their team.

Legion Dungeon Bonus Event - [August 15–22]
While this event is active, the final boss of each Legion dungeon awards an extra item when defeated.

Trial of Style - [August 17–21]
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fiercest of them all? You’ll find out during the Trial of Style. Fashionistas will go head-to-head during this special event to see who can put it all together—for the win!

Pet Battle Bonus Event - [August 22–29]
While this event is active, your pets will earn experience at triple the usual rate. Get out there and battle!

PvP Brawl: Warsong Scramble - [August 22–29]
Warsong Gulch has always been the scene of an epic capture-the-flag battle, but what happens when you can capture your enemy’s flag without having your own at your base? Find out when you step into this PvP Brawl! We’ve also added a few more power-ups to the field of battle to stir things up a bit. To win, your team must be the first to capture five flags.

Cataclysm Timewalking - [August 29–September 5]
While this event is active, players level 86 or higher may access a special Timewalking Dungeon Finder queue, which scales players and their items down to revisit past dungeons from the Cataclysm expansion. While Timewalking, bosses will yield loot appropriate for a player’s regular level.

Promotions and Events
Mythic Dungeon Invitational Proving Grounds
Time is running out to head into the Mythic dungeons and show us your best Mythic Keystone dungeon scores. The Proving Grounds period ends August 8 and all entries must be in by August 11 at 3:00 p.m. PDT.

Blizzard at gamescom–August 23–26
Blizzard will be making a showing at gamescom in Cologne, Germany again this year, and we’re looking forward to making it our biggest gamescom yet! We’ll be hosting a WoW Dungeon race, hosting our dance and cosplay contests, and more. Attendees can head to Hall 7 to visit the booth. Don’t forget to tune in for the World of Warcraft European Championship Finals from Wednesday, August 23 through Saturday, August 26 to see which four teams will head to BlizzCon.

Patch 7.3 on the Public Test Realm
